1949 - 08/23 Richard Lewis Springthorpe is born

1968 - Rick heads to Vietnam to entertain the troops

1972 - 09/16 Rick appears on American Bandstand
1972 - 10/27 Rick appears on Sonny & Cher (What Would the Children Think)

1974 - 04/16 Rick makes a 6 night appearance at the Troubadour, performing songs from CBH

1977 - 10/30 Rick makes his acting debut on The Six Million Dollar Man

1981 - 03/25 Rick debuts on General Hospital
1981 - 04/24 Rick's dad, Norman James Springthorpe, dies
1981 - 05/23 Rick returns to American Bandstand and performs Jessie's Girl  
1981 - 08/01 Jessie's Girl hits #1
1981 - 10/02 Rick appears on Merv Giffin (performs IDEFY)

1982 - 02/24 Rick wins a Grammy for Jessie's Girl and performs the song
1982 - 08/13 Live and Kickin was recorded at Universal Amphitheater

1984 - 04/06  Hard to Hold is released
1984 - 10/27 Rick marries Barbara Jean Porter

1985 - 07/13 Rick performs for Live Aid
1985 - 11/26 Rick performs at The Life Concert to benefit LA's hungry

1988 - 01/26 Rick appears on the Today Show to promote Rock of Life

1992 - 07/16 Lethal Ron, Rick's dog, passes away.

1993 - 03/30 Rick appears on Geraldo as part of a 30 year GH special

1994 - 09/24 The first episode of High Tide airs.  It is filmed in New Zealand.  Rick and his family move there for the first year to film the series.

1997 - 04/10 Rick begins his 3 year stint as host of the Tucson Classic

1998 - 06/12 The Karma tour begins

1999 - 04/13 Karma is released
1999 - 10/19 Rick debuts in Smokey Joe's Cafe

2000-08/25 Rick performs on The Today Show

2001 - 01/30 Greatest Hits Alive is released
2001 - 01/30 Rick's opening night for EFX Alive
2001 - 07/31 Rick falls during an EFX performance and hurts his arm

2002 - 02/21 Rick debuts "idontwantanythingfromyou"
2002 - 12/31 Rick ends his run on EFX Alive

2004 - 02/24 Shock/Denial/Anger/Acceptance is released

2005 - 07/12 The Day After Yesterday is released
2005 - 12/02 Rick returns to General Hospital
