Mick and Joey go to watch Mick's Goddaughter (Tina) in a Volleyball Tournament. Tina is attacked, but Mick and Joey are able to run the attackers off. After Tina tells Mick that she was given a ring while playing a tournament in Mexico, he recognizes it as belong to her mother (who had died).  They begin to wonder if her Dad (John) might still be alive. Tina is abducted. Tina described the guy who delivered the rings, a guys with a lot of tattoos, and thinks he might be someone that both he and John knew, so he tracks him down in Mexico.
John Chapman had to fake his death in order to survive and protect his daughter. Tina is being held by Sanchez, a leader of the drug cartel.  Mick, Joey, and John form a plan to rescue her.  John has all kinds of fancy tools/weapons from his CIA days. Mick and Joey don't really seemed to be dressed in approriate attire to be sneaking into a compoung - Mick even less so than Joey. And of course, Tina is rescued.  On a side note, Robert LaSardo (Jake) played Manny Ruiz on General Hospital while Rick was also on General Hospital. - rlh
